Corrosion Resistant Alloys LP (CRA), a manufacturer of high-grade corrosion resistant alloy tubes, has appointed Tommy Najar as vice president of commercial.

Headquartered in Houston, Najar will be responsible for leading CRA’s commercial, marketing, accounting, human resources and digital optimisation teams, while serving as a member of the corporate leadership team.

Prior to joining the CRA team, Najar amassed more than 17 years of industry experience, serving in various engineering roles for Chevron and Hilcorp Energy Company. He has extensive experience in completions, workovers, fishing, through-tubing intervention and plug and abandonment operations.

John Patchell, owner and president, says, “Tommy brings many years of valuable experience to CRA, not only through his knowledge of engineering and the industry as a whole, but also his ability to develop and lead people. He will serve as a valuable asset on our leadership team. Tommy will perpetuate our reputation of being the most reliable corrosion resistant alloy tubulars in the world.”

Najar holds a petroleum engineering degree from Marietta College, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
