Norner, provider of industrial polymer R&D services, has announced that Lene Rambekk has been hired as the new laboratory manager from June 1, 2019.

Lene Rambekk has an MSc in polymer chemistry, and a wide industrial experience from Trelleborg Viking, and REC, among others. She comes to Norner from Herøya Industripark AS where she had the position of head of operations.

Rambekk is replacing Jørgen Nyhus, who will continue to develop Norner in his position as Business Director for the Building and Infrastructure business area. Rambekk has broad industrial experience and will contribute greatly to the further development of the laboratory and organisation.

“Growth is the main reason why we develop our organisation and leadership. The hiring of Lene Rambekk is an important part of developing our scientific laboratory further on methods, services and quality. We are very pleased to welcome Lene to Norner,” says Kjetil Larsen, CEO at Norner.

“I have been in the industry for many years and was ready for new challenges. Norner is an exciting company, and for me this is a great opportunity to continue with management in combination with my profession. I am very happy to be part of the Norner team,” says Lene Rambekk.

Lene Rambekk begins in Norner in a phase where several new investments are planned and the construction of a new technology centre, the Polymer Exploration Centre, is on the drawing board. She has already been responsible for investing in a new advanced electron microscope that makes Norner even better equipped to serve its industrial customers in materials technology.
