Delta-EE, the specialist new energy consultancy, has launched its Energy Insights+ service to offer European energy retailers a new research service to deliver customer value through the digitalisation of the electricity system.

With 27 million European residential energy customers downloading energy data services already, Delta-EE has developed the enhanced service to give utilities the opportunity to empower their customers to make more informed energy choices. Energy Insights+ offers intelligence on European customer needs, market innovation, as well as profiles of leading European smart solutions to support utilities to increase customer engagement and retention.

David Trevithick at Delta-EE says, “The digital and data energy insights market for energy retailers will only continue to grow. To stay ahead, we’re already seeing forward thinking utilities eager to access our new service to unlock the power of customer data. And this data can be a really transformative tool for the customer relationship – taking it from transactional to positive by offering solutions and options to improve energy usage.”

“But there isn’t one silver bullet solution that will help make that transition smooth – it’s about understanding the ecosystem and choosing the right combination of technology and functionality to support your business goals,” Trevithick continues.

The service will also enable large vendors of e-solutions, investors and policy makers to access exclusive reports on the state of the market and retailer solution profiles. In addition, Energy Insights+ includes access to Delta-EE’s analysts to support on specialist requirements as well as comprehensive databases of energy retailer customer engagement metrics.

“The energy insights market is no longer fledging – the smart meter roll-out has made sure of that – so now is the time to engage with this type of service. Energy retailers who put their best foot forward, can future proof their strategies, develop trust with customers and get ahead in the market,” adds Trevithick.
