On 9-10 June 2020, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) together with the GIZ and the Danish Embassy Hanoi, in partnership with Vietnam Energy Partnership Group (VEPG) and USAID will be hosting the first-ever Vietnam Wind Power Virtual.

With the upcoming PDP 8 and different policy movements around the future of Vietnam’s Feed-in-Tariff, many wind industry stakeholders are looking to what’s next for Vietnam’s emerging wind market. Vietnam Wind Power Virtual 2020 is your chance to discuss all the latest information about Vietnam’s growing wind industry from business insiders, industry leaders and government stakeholders – all without leaving the house.

This virtual event is free for all to attend, and will include exclusive keynotes, panel discussions and networking to continue driving growth in Vietnam’s wind energy market.

While we may not be able to meet in Hanoi, all the relevant stakeholders for Vietnam’s wind market will be virtually together this 9-10 June. VWP Virtual will give participants an unprecedented access to network with developers, OEMs, investors, government agencies, consultancies and more to drive your business forward. From a virtual exhibition to one-to-one meetings, B2B matchmaking and more, you will have the chance to build your global network and find potential clients without having to leave your home or office.

  • Networking: Created to give you that coffee break networking opportunity that is a cornerstone of industry events, VWP Virtual will provide you with multiple opportunities to have this same experience virtually throughout the event! When you attend VWP Virtual, you will have the opportunity to chat with other attendees and panellists, enter one-to-one networking sessions, check out the virtual expo area and more to discover your next business opportunity.
  • Business Matchmaking: In collaboration with USAID, the event will include a project developer business matchmaking session exclusive for local Vietnamese developers to present on their current and future wind projects. This session offers the opportunity for business matchmaking to drive new wind power projects in Vietnam – from developers, to supply chain, to investors.

Enhance your knowledge, gain valuable insights, and accelerate your business with high-level keynotes and panel discussions from industry leaders and government stakeholders on all the latest trends, challenges and opportunities, wind policies, and case studies to accelerate Vietnam’s wind power industry.

Join VWP Virtual in June and meet in November 2020 in Hanoi
After the success of last year’s event, the third edition of Vietnam Wind Power conference and exhibition is back again. In 2019, the event attracted more than 400 international and local delegates and featured 56 industry and government speakers. This year, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) together with GIZ and the Danish Embassy in Hanoi are proud to organise this official industry event once again to accelerate Vietnam’s energy transition.

As one of the few wind conferences endorsed by the Vietnam Energy Partnership Group (VEPG), it will feature keynotes and panel discussions offering an in-depth exploration of key challenges and opportunities of Vietnam wind power developments.
