Subsea 7 has announced the award of a sizeable contract for work in the Gulf of Mexico. The contract will be recorded in backlog in the second quarter.
The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea pipelines, and transport and installation works associated with the project. Offshore installation activities are scheduled for 2020.
For contractual reasons, Subsea 7 is currently unable to release further details.
Note: Subsea 7 defines a sizeable contract as being between USD 50 million and USD 150 million.
