
Europe’s largest geoenergy company Rototec (Rototec Holding AB) has acquired Siv.Ing. Haga og Haugseth AS (SIHH), a civil engineering company in Norway that specialises in design and planning of energy, heating and hot water systems as well different building projects. SIHH will be Rototec Group’s subsidiary and will continue operating under its own brand.
SIHH assists building owners in the conversion from oil heating to renewable energy sources in residential and commercial buildings. The company provides consultation and project and construction management, conducts energy simulations, energy analysis, energy labelling and energy assessments in accordance with the energy labelling regulations.
“We see a lot of potential in Norway for renewable geoenergy and therefore we want to expand our operations also there through this acquisition. We are happy to be able to offer strengthened high-quality consulting and design services in the area,” tells Mikko Ojanne, VP, Development, Rototec Group.

SIHH is an approved one-time consultant at the City Environment Agency in Oslo enabling assistance to construction owners to apply for one-off support from the Oslo Municipality’s Climate and Energy Fund.
