The board of directors of Aliaxis, a global manufacturer and distributor of plastic fluid handling systems, has announced that Eric Olsen will join the group as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Olsen is the former global CEO of LafargeHolcim, where he led the successful integration of Lafarge and Holcim, to create a global champion for building materials and solutions.

Olivier van der Rest, Chairman of Aliaxis, says, “Eric is a world class leader with a proven track record of delivering transformation and growth. He shares our vision and will lead the company as we embark on the next phase of the Group transformation, capitalising on greater synergies to accelerate growth.”

Eric Olsen comments, “I am excited to lead Aliaxis and unleash the company’s incredible potential to provide real, sustainable solutions for water management, a critical challenge for the 21st century.”

Olivier van der Rest thanked Koen Sticker, Chief Financial Officer, for his leadership as Acting CEO during the transition period. “We are very grateful for Koen’s stewardship,” says van der Rest. “Koen will resume his CFO role, with an increased focus on investments and expanded responsibilities.”
