International Rig Count is up 14 rigs from last month to 715 with land rigs up 10 to 546, offshore rigs up 4 to 169.

International. Rig Count is down 344 rigs from last year’s count of 1,059, with land rigs down 269, offshore rigs down 75.

The average U.S. Rig Count for March was 408 up 10 from last month’s count of 398 and down 364 year-over-year.

The average Canada Rig Count for March was 108 down 62 from last month’s count of 171 and down 25 year-over-year.

The Worldwide Rig Count for March was 1,231, down 38 from the 1,270 counted in February 2021, and down 733 from the 1,964 counted in March 2020.
