TFP Hydrogen Products specialises in the development and manufacture of Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coatings and catalysts based on Platinum Group Metals (PGMs). The recent iridium price increases have meant that the cost of the anode catalyst for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) water electrolysis has increased significantly as a proportion of the technology cost. TFP Hydrogen Products’ Ir/Ru range includes IrRuO2 catalysts for Proton Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) water electrolysers, a method of generating green hydrogen. These anode catalysts have been formulated for use in the manufacture of Catalyst Coated Membranes (CCMs) and are highly dispersible into inks. IrRuO2 catalysts offer a number of benefits to a customer’s system, not just competitiveness on price; they enable the system to operate at a low voltage, improve long term durability and ensure high performance.
