The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) reports that preliminary production figures for April 2021 show an average daily production of 2,008,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.

Total gas sales were 9.2 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is a decrease of 0.6 GSm3 from the previous month.

Average daily liquids production in April was 1,725,000 barrels of oil, 270,000 barrels of NGL and 13,000 barrels of condensate.

Oil production in April is 3.2% higher than the NPD’s forecast, and 0.7% higher than the forecast so far this year.

The total volume is 1.7 MSm3 o.e. lower than in 2020.
