International Rig Count is up 55 rigs from last month to 750 with land rigs up 41 to 571, offshore rigs up 14 to 179.

International Rig Count is down 55 rigs from last year’s count of 805, with land rigs down 39, offshore rigs down 16.

The average US Rig Count for May was 453 up 17 from last month’s count of 436 and up 105 year-over-year.

The average Canada Rig Count for May was 59 up 1 from last month’s count of 58 and up 36 year-over-year.

The Worldwide Rig Count for May was 1,262, up 73 from the 1,189 counted in April 2021, and up 86 from the 1,176 counted in May 2020.
