Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, has received a purchase order from MaserFrakt AB for one H2Station™ hydrogen fueling station to be used for a fleet of heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles in Borlänge, Sweden.
“We are very happy to be chosen by MaserFrakt to be the supplier of their first hydrogen fueling station. MaserFrakt, one of Sweden’s largest companies in the haulier and construction business, has taken an important decision by introducing hydrogen for mobility, supporting their aim of becoming climate neutral by 2035. We look forward to supporting MaserFrakt AB with the continued transition towards zero emission transport in Sweden,” says Christian Vinther, Key Account Manager at Nel Hydrogen Fueling.
“We are pleased to announce the signature of a promising contract with our partner NEL, which will allow us to move forward on our way towards climate neutral transportation. We are looking forward to using this equipment to power fuel cell heavy trucks that will be part of our fleet. Together with the recently announced agreement of hydrogen supply, this fits very well with our sustainability road map,” says Per Bondemark, CEO at MaserFrakt.
The robust and state-of-the-art hydrogen station allows to refuel hydrogen vehicles in less than fifteen minutes in a safe, fast, and reliable way. The H2Station™ is scheduled to be operational by Q4 of 2022. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the purchase order.
