International rig counts from Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes has posted its monthly International Rig Count reports.

International Rig Count is up 10 rigs from last month to 787 with land rigs up 10 to 600, offshore rigs unchanged at 187.

International Rig Count is up 85 rigs from last year’s count of 702, with land rigs up 76, offshore rigs up 9.

The average US Rig Count for September was 508 up 7 from last month’s count of 501 and up 251 year-over-year.

The average Canada Rig Count for September was 153 down 3 from last month’s count of 156 and up 93 year-over-year.

The Worldwide Rig Count for September was 1,448, up 14 from the 1,434 counted in August 2021, and up 429 from the 1,019 counted in September 2020.
