Training provider AIS Survivex, part of 3t Energy Group (3t), has recently been awarded a contract to implement training for the Senegalese and Mauritanian key stakeholders and regulating bodies, as the local offshore sector prepares for production in 2022.
Dedicated to supporting further knowledge development for local government officials and other industry stakeholders, 3t Energy Group’s custom designed, technology-led training programme encompasses a blended learning approach which utilises virtual reality (VR) and drilling simulation technology to equip delegates from both regions with strong foundation of knowledge and understanding of the offshore oil and gas industry.
As well as face-to-face course content delivered by an expert team, this two-phased, interactive course is supported by 3t’s Transform training technologies, with phase one delivered in Dakar, Senegal, and the second in Nuoakchott, Mauritania.
Commenting on the award, Vice President – Global Sales & Strategy for the 3t Energy Group, Gavin Taylor says, “Following a successful delivery of a bespoke digital training programme for one of the leading global operators, we are delighted to be able to offer a service that will support the development of an emerging market for oil and gas industry.”
