The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) reports that preliminary production figures for November 2021 show an average daily production of 1,999,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
Total gas sales were 10.1 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is a decrease of 0.4 GSm3 from the previous month.
Average daily liquids production in November was: 1,729,000 barrels of oil, 257,000 barrels of NGL and 13,000 barrels of condensate.
Oil production in November is 5.0% lower than the NPD’s forecast, and 0.5% higher than the forecast so far this year.
The main reasons that production in November was below forecast is technical problems.
The total petroleum production so far in 2021 is about 210,8 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 93.2 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 14.1 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 103.6 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.
The total volume is 2.8 MSm3 o.e. higher than the 2020-figures.
