Vestas has received a 87 MW order from ABO Wind AG for the Pajuperänkagas project in Finland. The order includes supply and installation of 14 V162-6.2 MW turbines and adds to the almost 2 GW in firm orders already received in Finland for the EnVentus platform.

Vestas will provide service for the project through a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, providing power performance certainty and Vestas’ industry-leading service expertise throughout the lifetime of the project.

“We are delighted to engage in a new project with ABO Wind AG, underling the strong partnership we have globally and our shared vision for a sustainable future. We are certain that the reliability and competitiveness of the EnVentus platform combined with the 25-year service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset, will provide ABO Wind AG with long-term certainty and optimise their business case,” says Juan Furones, Vice President of Sales North & West.

The Pajuperänkagas project, which will be situated in Haapajärvi municipality in the North Ostrobothnia region, will receive turbines in the second quarter of 2023 and be fully commissioned by the fourth quarter the same year.
