Global GeoPressure Advice (GGA) and Geologix have announced a collaborative offering, providing a simple, linked service for planning of wells, their drilling and monitoring and their subsequent archiving.

GGA’s advisory services, which comprise integrating pore pressure, basin studies, sedimentology, structural geology, drilling and geomechanics, complement and support the Geologix WellXP offering, which provides a unique, remote well monitoring service that is flexible, customisable, and highly accessible. The service is built on cloud technology providing a real-time web portal for decision collaboration between client and pressure experts. This joint venture will provide an integrated, holistic Geo Pressure service across the well lifecycle, de-risking prospects and increasing safety, optimising production, and reducing opex.

Stephen O’Connor, a Subject Matter Expert, who is enthusiastic about the collaboration, says, “Working with Geologix expertise and the WellXP platform, we can provide a full, end-to-end service to operations across the globe. Geologix’s recent development of geopressure software provides a robust foundation for our advice and enables a ‘one-stop-shop’ for pore pressure and geomechanics support and training to clients.”

Samit Sengupta, Founder and CEO of Geologix Limited, is equally enthusiastic about the partnership, commenting, “Remote technology is playing an increasingly important role by injecting experts into any project, to improve operations decision and reduce comparative spend. We see this venture with GGA as an opportunity to provide global operations with safe, predictable well monitoring services, and an end-to-end service that reduces opex and enables our clients to meet ESG targets.”
