Valaris releases quarterly Fleet Status Report

Valaris Limited has issued its quarterly Fleet Status Report that provides the current status of the company’s fleet of offshore drilling rigs along with certain contract information for these assets.

A few of the new contracts and extensions since Valaris’ last Fleet Status Report:

  • VALARIS MS-1 floater awarded a five-well contract with an undisclosed operator offshore Australia. The contract is expected to commence in the second half 2023 with an estimated duration of 300 days. The contract is subject to final investment decision (FID) by the customer.
  • VALARIS DPS-5 floater awarded a one-well contract with Apache in the US Gulf of Mexico. The contract is expected to commence in June 2022 with an estimated duration of 25 days.
  • VALARIS 140 jack-up awarded a 3-year bareboat charter agreement with ARO Drilling that is expected to commence in March 2022.
  • VALARIS 118 jack-up awarded a four-well contract with bp offshore Trinidad. The contract is expected to commence in the second half 2022 with an estimated duration of 270 days.
  • VALARIS Norway jack-up awarded a 114-day contract with bp in the UK North Sea. The contract is expected to commence in the second quarter 2022.
  • VALARIS Viking jack-up awarded a one-well contract with Sval Energi offshore Norway. The contract is expected to commence in March 2022 with an estimated duration of 66 days.
  • VALARIS 37 has been sold and retired from the offshore drilling fleet.
