fleetenergies – experts in processing fuel consumption data, fleet energy cost and carbon impact reduction – has announced the nomination of the Greek researcher Kyriakos Agavanakis as Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Kyriakos Agavanakis holds a doctorate in information systems and will be in charge of the technological transformation of fleetenergies so as to exploit the full potential of deep learning and machine learning that the company has been developing for 12 years. In particular, he will contribute to the deployment of algorithms and evolutive services based on the Cloud to provide pragmatic solutions for clients using the 20 million or more pieces of data processed by fleetenergies every day. He has acquired an international reputation having participated for over 25 years in numerous innovation projects – academic, commercial and industrial – in many different sectors, including automobiles, logistics and energy trading. In particular, he has worked for the European Union and the Greek public sector, and for private companies such as ThinkRIT, Meazon and EDS.

“We are delighted to have Kyriakos with us. His passion for technological transformation and for orchestrating processes is an invaluable asset to us in our continuing to innovate and provide our clients with state-of-the-art technologies,” says Éric Elkaim, CEO of fleetenergies.
