Baker Hughes has posted its monthly International Rig Count reports.
International Rig Count is up 11 rigs from last month to 817 with land rigs up 9 to 624, offshore rigs up 2 to 193.
International Rig Count is up 67 rigs from last year’s count of 750, with land rigs up 53, offshore rigs up 14.
The average U.S. Rig Count for May was 718 up 28 from last month’s count of 690 and up 265 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for May was 93 down 14 from last month’s count of 107 and up 34 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for May was 1,628, up 25 from the 1,603 counted in April 2022,and up 366 from the 1,262 counted in May 2021.
