Mintra has been awarded the highest available Gold Standard accreditation for the second consecutive year by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) to acknowledge the high quality of learning and development solutions brought to safety critical industries. The business also secured the highest scores available across 14 key performance areas.
Mintra has been recognised by the LPI for 12 consecutive years as a leading global authority for workplace learning and development, delivering solutions to the global maritime and energy sectors. The accreditation covers all areas of Mintra’s products and services, including the learning and competence management system Trainingportal, crew management software OCS HR and eLearning.
The auditors acknowledged Mintra’s ongoing commitment to development and training, reinforced by the Learning and Development Director Janet Donaldson previously being awarded a fellowship by the LPI for her high professional standards and expertise within the learning and performance community. Seven other members of the content development team have now been appointed as members of the LPI.
The Gold Standard accreditation awarded by the LPI recognises Mintra’s adoption of emerging technologies for the benefit of global customers and notes business growth in eLearning, human capital management and consultancy services.
The feedback from the LPI noted that Mintra’s learning platforms possess the highest standard of usability, responsiveness, functionality and integration capabilities, enabling clients to benefit from crucial learning content. Trainingportal was noted for providing “value” as well as a well-defined and media-rich learner journey, fully integrating both formal as well as informal learning resources.
Mintra’s “innovative” approach to eLearning design, excellent use of language, effective use of multimedia and attention to detail were also commended. The LPI found that the business produces highly polished and professional content, which is engaging, thought-out in design, layout and format. Excellent use of language, imagery and illustrations were also mentioned.
Auditors found Mintra to be client focused from the start of the sales process through to the delivery stage, ensuring client expectations are fully understood and service delivery is focused on achieving or exceeding expectations. The LPI noted the business’ strong consultancy culture and high level of client relationship management were crucial in ensuring positive outcomes.
Mintra’s global staff were recognised for their enthusiasm and playing a leading role as credible business ambassadors for all solutions. The auditors also highlighted Mintra’s corporate social responsibility agenda and activities such as the recent Sailing Safer Seas webinar aimed at the maritime industry.
Ed Monk, CEO of the LPI, says, “The LPI’s accreditation programme is an ongoing and comprehensive review, not only benchmarking current capability but also setting out an improvement roadmap for the following year. So to achieve accreditation for 12 consecutive years is no mean feat. Not only this, but Mintra has maintained this accreditation at Gold Standard, placing them in the highest tier of learning technology providers and validating their strategy for continual success. Prospective and existing customers can be assured that Mintra will provide the highest quality of service and the best user experience. They are trusted business partners, acting always in the best interests of their clients and, as such, fully endorsed by the LPI.”
“We are delighted to be awarded the Gold Standard accreditation for the second consecutive year. The LPI recognition is only made possible by the commitment and determination of our multitalented Mintra team.
