International rig counts from Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes has posted its monthly International Rig Count reports.

International Rig Count is up 19 rigs from last month to 879 with land rigs up 10 to 660, offshore rigs up 9 to 219.

International Rig Count is up 92 rigs from last year’s count of 787, with land rigs up 60, offshore rigs up 32.

The average U.S. Rig Count for September was 763 down 1 from last month’s count of 764 and up 255 year-over-year.

The average Canada Rig Count for September was 211 up 10 from last month’s count of 201 and up 58 year-over-year.

The Worldwide Rig Count for September was 1,853, up 28 from the 1,825 counted in August 2022, and up 405 from the 1,448 counted in September 2021.
